The Balmullo plant group was set up recently after finding many people within the village had plants, seedlings or packets of seeds they no longer needed and we’re finding ways to swap and sell them locally. After chatting to several people in Balmullo I decided to put the Facebook page together to help people do so easily and to offer any advice amongst budding gardeners. It’s a page of over 50 people and all ranges of gardening abilities, no judgment and very friendly people. I believe it’s so far been a success and we’d love to grow and learn more from other gardeners within the village!
