Upskilling and part-time study opportunity for local residents – The University of St Andrews
Running for several years now, the programme is designed to provide those without formal qualifications a route into gaining a university education, upskilling, and improving career prospects. With a mix of evening lecture and independent study, learners will be able to shape their studies around a busy schedule, with the maximum duration of study being 9 years. Whether they need to balance a full-time job, family responsibilities or other commitments, the programme provides the flexibility needed to make academic aspirations a reality. Students on the programme are eligible to apply for a part-time study scholarship to help with the costs associated with being a student, including travel, books and childcare, and depending on personal circumstances, learners may be eligible for a part-time fee grant from SAAS.
Applications are open until 31 July for September 2023 entry and we are running an information session next Wednesday, 26 July. Information on the programme and the information session can be found here: https://www.st-andrews.ac.uk/subjects/combined-studies-ma/.
